Sony DSC-W510 Review

In addition to the DSC-H70, Sony has also introduced the DSC-W510 and DSC-W530 from its Cyber-shot Series. Both cameras are at the entry-level, they are compact and both comes with Sony’s Super HAD image sensor, Sony Lens with 4x Optical Zoom and 26mm equivalent wide angle. The Cyber-shot DSC-W510 gets a 12.1 Megapixel Sensor while the Cyber-shot DSC-W530 gets a 14.1 Megapixel sensor.
They both comes with a 2.7-inch LCD display, they come with the ability to record videos, unfortunately not HD videos but 640 x 480p VGA video recording at 30fps along with other standard features including up to 3200 ISO, Intelligent Scene Recognition (iSCN) Mode, Intelligent Auto Mode, Soft Skin mode, Sweep Panorama mode, Face Detection, SteadyShot image stabilization, Smile Shutter and Anti-blink Function. They also gets an advanced feature called the Dynamic Range Optimizer (DRO) Standard and Plus that will recover shadows and highlights, resulting more natural images with clearer details. The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W510 and DSC-W530 will be released in March for a price $109 and $129, respectively and in various colors.
