You may need to learn what the MAC Address is on your Google Nexus S smartphone if your Wi-Fi network uses MAC Address filtering for an additional layer of security. Luckily, you can find this information right in the Android OS.
1. Tap the application slider and open the Settings app.
2. Scroll all the way down and select About phone.
3. Tap Status.
4. Scroll all the way to the bottom and you’ll find the Wi-Fi MAC address listed on this screen.
