Google Nexus S Review
All rumors have been spread out too much about the Google Nexus S for more than a couple months, and now everything is getting clearer and clearer since the real device has been unveiled. The Google Nexus S is on your eyes. So, here we go!
The Google Nexus S is manufactured by Samsung, and is considered as too far from the first generation of Nexus One. Inside you will get Gingerbread software pack, or we often call it as Android 2.3. Google Android team is the leader of the project, and they decided to make the new handset as a clean install of Android, meaning that the handset would have no additional software layer from third party OEMs or carriers.
So, do you think the Nexus S will take greater part than its predecessor Nexus One? December 16 is the starting date when you can get the new device at Best Buy in the U.S. and Carphone Warehouse in the U.K. Thus, it is your golden opportunity to try the device and share here.
However, it would be great if we make a sort of initial review or discussion about the handset. Would you agree? Why not? A lot of reviewers commented that the phone does not fail to please its users. It would even perform significantly faster than its predecessor, and the gorgeous display sports a high-end AMOLED 400 x 800 resolution screen, in which this is really typically Samsung. The NFC-enabled is another hot point to proud of. Next, you also would get a lot of easiness while using this handset with its Gmail, Google Calendar, Google contacts, etc, and there are also various Google’s apps.

Design
Google Nexus S comes sleeker, or you may call it chic anyway. And, it is fun to see that the design attracts our attention with its generic black plastic case, though for some reasonable facts the plastic material wouldn’t be capable of screaming for huge attention. Alternatively, the case announce how cheap the phone is, though it is not exactly tht cheap like that case’s first impression. This device actually measures 63 x 123.9 x 10.88 mm and weighs in at 4.55 ounces.
Performance
What to expect next about the Google Nexus S? Let’s discuss about the hardware which determines how fast the handset would run. The Nexus S uses the 1 GHz Hummingbird processor. Is it the good news for you? Well, the processor is great to help you run multiple apps very well all at once. On the other side, you would only enjoy 16 GB of internal flash memory to save any data of yours, while there is no expansion slot as your external memory.
Display
The Google Nexus S sports a 4-inche Super AMOLED 480 x 800 touchscreen display. And, it is absolutely something great from Samsung Google phones’ lovers should appreciate. The touchscreen display has very deep blacks and viewing angles, in addition it has higher resolution that the iPhone 4 display.
Battery Life
It has Li-ion 1500 mAh provides users 400 minutes of talk time and 428 hours of standby time. Is it enough to support your daily routine?
Camera
It’s not a big surprise, for the upcoming device will be only equipped with 5 megapixel camera. But, it will be still fun to use it for there are flash and VGA front facing camera to support the multimedia functions. Next, it has also a gyroscape, compass, accelerometer, proximity sensor, light sensor, and haptic feedback.
Now, are you excited enough to get the phone? All in all, you might find it is not something fun to let you switch your choice from the iPhone 4 to the upcoming device. But, the device is much better than the iPhone in most ways, in addition the Gingerbread is powerful enough to call huge attention from customers.
