The glamorous looking Sony Ericsson Aino stands apart from the rest of the slide opening designed mobile phones. This 3G handset comes in an obsidian black coloured integrated with the complete high gloss finish. It is extremely comfortable to carry because of its ideal dimensional size of 104 x 50 x 15.5 mm that weights just 134 gram including the fitted battery. This model has TFT capacitive touchscreen of 16M colours along with 3 inches long display that carries high resolution of 240 x 432 pixels for clear image viewing experience. The Aino edition is related to the same family of Sony Ericsson Yari but it differs from the latter as far as its features, design and look is concerned. In the operating control features, it has accelerometer sensor for auto rotate along with limited touchscreen functionality. This handset covers a GSM quad band network along with the support of UMTS 900 and 2100 network.
